You may have watched or heard about the Turkish series Diriliş: Ertuğrul and Kuruluş: Osman which is being watched by people all over the world! I am not here to tell you about the show itself. But want to highlight one issue that a lot of people have a problem with.
From the series one can see how religious the characters are, how they talk about Allah a lot and show so much respect to Rasulullah Sallallahu Alyhiwasallam, by placing their palms on their chest. It's a very Islamic orientated series.
However, the character on these series are just actors, most are Muslims, Alhamdulillah. People often get shocked by how the actors are in their real life, away from the movie cameras. Some seem to live a life completely opposite to what they seem like on screen.
We take the good from people, hate the sins not the sinners. Alhamdulillah many people have come closer to Islam due to the films, some have embraced Islam and some have a general positive view about Islam. These actors, though doing their job, are actually contributing to that.

Just because they portray themselves a certain way on screen, that's not how it's going to always be in their lives. You can't expect Baris Bagci who acts the character Noyan to be a villan in his daily life!
