The East London Mosque was established in 1910! One
of the biggest Masjid in Europe, with a capacity of 7,000 which often goes
higher during Jumuah, Tarawih and Eid salah. It now consists of the London
Muslim Centre and the Maryam Centre.
Many people like visiting the Masjid from other
areas, so I wanted to put together a guide of things that may interest and
benefit you whilst you are here. This is a non-exhaustive list, if I come
across any other important places, I’ll add it inshaAllah. This post isn’t
influenced by the Masjid management at all, I’m doing it with my own accord.
I
cannot take responsibility for the services provided by these companies.

Parking facilities:
There are no facilities at the Masjid, however you
can park on the local roads, with pay and display. Some bays will be free
during weekends and evenings on weekdays, please check signs.
Food:
There are a few different food places around the
Masjid. I will list some here for convenience which are within a 3-minute
radius from the Masjid, however I cannot take responsibility for their meat and
poultry source and service. I have also not listed any that allow alcohol on
site (to the best of my knowledge).
