O' Madina - A poem from the heart

Madina! O' Madina for how long do we stay apart.

The one who lives within your walls, lives in my heart.

My soul is dead, but his love awakens it.

In front of the green dome I would marvel and sit.

My feet is not worthy of stepping onto your land

If only I could reach out and hold his blessed hand

My hands would tremble

My body would shake

Legs would shiver

My voice would quiver

As he looks at me with a smile so bright, as he touches me with hands so soft, as he embraces me with an embrace so loving and so gentle.

I would find peace and tranquility in my master's arms who is so kind, generous and merciful
