Bangladeshi Egg Omelette
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- ½ onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili (khasa moris), finely chopped
- A pinch of fresh coriander, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1–2 tsp oil (mustard oil or vegetable oil)
Instructions

Prepare the eggs
- Crack the eggs into a bowl.
- Add salt and black pepper.
- Beat lightly with a fork until the mixture is smooth.

Add flavorings
- Mix in the chopped onion, green chili, and coriander.
- Stir well so everything is evenly spread.

Cook the omelette
- Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat.
- Pour in the egg mixture and spread it out evenly.
- Cook for 1–2 minutes until the edges are set and golden.
- Gently flip or fold the omelette and cook for another minute until fully cooked.

Serve
- Serve hot with paratha, roti, or steamed rice.
